A little bit about me...
The Business Bit
I’m based in beautiful North Canterbury, New Zealand where I work from my home office helping small to mid-sized business owners feel less overwhelmed and more in control. I’ve worn many hats over the years – from minute-taker to content creator, admin organiser to branding support – and I love finding the simplest way to make things run smoothly.
My business journey began in the late 1980s with my first venture, Jets Secretarial Services. Since then, I’ve founded and run an event business, owned a women’s fitness franchise, and launched Office Support 4 U in 2018. I even tried to get a singles event business off the ground – but people were far too unreliable! These days, I’ve pivoted Office Support 4 U to include ethical AI tools and hands-on support through AI Impact Solutions – helping business owners simplify, grow, and get back more time for the things that matter.
The Personal Bit
I’m a true Cantabrian…born and raised in Christchurch, New Zealand. I live with my rescue kitty, Opal. I’m blessed to have my daughter, four grandchildren, parents and sister nearby.
When I’m not supporting clients, you’ll find me pottering in the garden. I practice yoga, meditation, somatic exercise and other self-care modalities. Creative expression is a huge part of my life – I’ve tutored calligraphy and get stuck into all kinds of crafts: rock painting, crochet, cross-stitch, jewellery making…the list goes on!
I’ve volunteered in Samoa through VSA, taught English in South America, and helped out wherever I can, from animal shelters to outdoor education centres. Giving back is important to me – it’s just how I’m wired.
